Comfort Shawl

I love making things that bring comfort to others, even if it takes me often longer than I would like to create. This is the Attune Shawl by Andrea Mowry, which was my first time working with the fabulous Spincycle Yarns from the county just North from me. I can see why people love the dye work on their two ply twisted fiber. It allowed me to feel like a painter as I was knitting. I will look in future for any sale days they may have. 

The white wool is my first time but won't be my last working with Mountain Meadow Wool out of Wyoming, and it's another great squooshy fiber to work. 

I have two sweaters and a cardigan on the needles at present, but as the shaping takes more concentration I always seem to cast on some smaller project that catches my eye that is considered "potato chip" knitting, something I can do with my eyes closed, or while chatting or watching a video. To that end, I'm halfway through Sofia Kammeborn's Summer Puzzle Shawl using up greens in my stash. I intend to make it much bigger than the pattern intends ... after I get longer needles.
